VegfestUK has been honoured in the recent PEAB awards in London, winning the 'Work in the Community award for 2013.

Huge turnout at VegfestUK Brighton 2013

A huge crowd of 7,200 people turned up to visit VegfestUK Brighton 2013 - 3,500 on Saturday, and 3,700 on Sunday. This compares with a total of 5,000 visitors in 2012. Must be the horseburgers!!! Big thanks to everyone who came, and of course to all our lovely stallholders, sponsors, speakers, venue team, and VegfestUK team - awesome! Dates for 2014 to be announced shortly, bookings open in September 2013 from this website.

The dates have been confirmed for a huge new show in London at the world famous Kensington Olympia on October 5th 6th 2013. Comedian Dave Spikey (Phoenix Nights) is guest of honour along with musician Macka B, presenters Janey Lee Grace & Dale Pinnock, chef Chad Sarno, actress Roxy Shahidi, comedian Andrew O'Neill, athlete Fiona Oakes and nutritionists Yvonne Bishop - Weston, Christine Bailey and Julie Silver, with many more guests to be announced. Janey Lee Grace to open the Brighton show

BBC Radio 2 presenter and author Janey Lee Grace will be opening the show on Saturday March 16th at 11am, followed by a talk at 12 midday. Cbeebies presenter Sarah Jane Honeywell will be visiting the show on Sunday, as will ex - Emmerdale actress Roxy Shahidi; she is hosting a yoga workshop at 4pm on Sunday. Professional footballer Dean Howell (Fleetwood Town FC) is also visiting the show on Sunday, as are our two celebrity nutritionists, Yvonne Bishop - Weston and Juliet Gellatley. And a warm welcome to Dr Melanie Joy, author of 'Why we love dogs, eat pigs and wear cows', visiting the show on Sunday to do her presentation at 1pm.
