Bristol stallholders revealed!

We're a month into launching Bristol 2012 and we're excited to announce we're around 30% sold. The main marquee is almost sold out and the caterers spots are being snapped up quickly, and believe us, there are some good'uns on board... How do you fancy eating a twizzled and tasty fried potato on a stick for lunch? Then you need to visit Chipstix. Or how about grabbing yourself a brilliant £100 off an electric bike at The Electric Transport Shop stall? And don't forget to look out for the giant panda giving out Panda Liquorice for a mid-afternoon snack... More names to be announced soon!

Get in whilst you can! Brighton still selling fast...

There has been an overwhelming response to Brighton so far. 80% of the floor space has now been allocated. If you want to get involved, there's still a bit of time left to do so. If you want to join in the fun with the likes of Hempish, Amy's Kitchen, Bessant & Drury's, Dogs Mountain and Hope Street, take a look at our media pack for all the options. There are also loads of great marketing opportunities available for stallholders, local and national businesses. Regardless of whether you're a small, new company or have been established for 20 years, there's an option for everyone. Feel free to call us on 0117 3079872 to discuss what could work best for you.

Our Bristol VegfestUK Animal Sanctuary is open for business!

We have introduced a brand new feature to Bristol VegfestUK 2012. Our Animal Sanctuary is situated up by our main marquee and has some very cheap rates for animal organisations to get involved. If you're a small animal charity, work with animals or sell animal related products you might like to join our Animal Sanctuary area. We're welcoming anyone who would like to have a stall, hold a workshop or do a talk. There are very cheap options available for stallholders, starting from £50 + vat per day. There is also the option to share a stall with a fellow animal organisation, thereby reducing costs further. However, space is limited, so will be given on application only. Please contact the office on 0117 3079872 or email us on info@vegfest.co.uk if you're interested in getting involved. Whatever you're interested in doing, we'd love to hear from you.

Twitter now home to 700+ followers! And we join the blogging world...

A little while ago we noticed we weren't far off 700 followers. And so, the race began to find our 700th follower! It ended when we came across the lovely Josh Leuner, vegan fry up fan and BA Spanish & Latin American Studies student. Secondly, we have taken a new step into the world of social networking and have created the VegfestUK Blog, hosted by blogger.co.uk. We're new to this so it would be great if some of our blogger-using friends could come and say hello... Check it out here :)

Calling all entertainers, performers, comedians & musicians for 2012!

The time has come where we are looking for talented people to fill our stages, site and secret garden. With rumours surrounding the Bristol headliners surfacing, now is the perfect time to get involved. Word has it that The Correspondents might be headlining Bristol on Friday, as well as vintage Reggae band Talisman who may be making a rare live appearance on Sunday. Admission to the event is free all weekend long and we're looking for people who are superbly talented and can sing, dance, or performs any kind of alternative entertainment. The stages will be acoustic/chill out during the day so please only apply if you're able to play acoustically or have a chill out set. We welcome any genre and aim to have an eclectic line up of entertainment. Similarly, if you're a festival walkabout act, comedian, dance act or cabaret act, we want to hear from you! We're also looking for some light entertainment for Brighton VegfestUK. If you think you can offer something to either festival, email Lucy at lucy.vegfestuk@gmail.com or call the office on 0117 3079872.
