Brighton – it's a sell out!


It's official – Brighton VegfestUK 2012 is officially SOLD OUT! That's right, we now have over 120 stalls packed FULL of the best vegan produce from fashion to cosmetics, food to campaigns. VegfestUK Brighton has everything you need to live that green lifestyle, and even better, entry is COMPLETELY FREE! If you're new to the vegan diet (or perhaps you're even a fully fledged omnivore?) don't be shy – we're not all about celery and pulses! We have a fantastic range of meat-free meats (vegan kebab, anyone?), more dairy-free dairy than you can count on 10 fingers including ice cream, milk and yoghurt, and the best superfoods to keep you tip top and healthy. VegfestUK Bristol 2012 – Main Marquee full up!


For those of you who came to VegfestUK Bristol 2011, you'll remember how jam packed our Main Marquee was. Well, it looks like 2012 is to follow suit as the Main Marquee is now SOLD OUT! Expect to see the likes of Inside Organics, Ecotricity, Hempish, Vegusto and Kara Dairy Free presenting stalls brimming with the best plant-based foods, clothes, superfoods, cosmetics and green lifestyle choices. And right in prime position you'll be able to find the mighty Redwood; offering samples and selling their tasty products on stall number 1. And if you like what you see, you can head over to their catering operation at stall number 38, where you can find their burgers and sausages served up in a bun for a tasty lunch option. Delish!

Bristol VegfestUK 2012 headliners announced!


The moment you've all been waiting for: the Bristol VegfestUK 2012 headliners have been announced! Our headline acts will be taking to the Performance Stage each day at 6pm, where the sound will be pumped up and everyone can have a good old dance! Admission is totally FREE to the public for all of these incredible headliners.
Here is who we currently have on our bill (more acts TBC)....

Friday 25th May: Neville Staple of The Specials supported by Dub Mafia
Saturday 26th May: Finley Quaye supported by Baraka
Sunday 27th May: Johnny Clarke meets Soothsayers supported by Talisman

It's official – voting in the VegfestUK Awards has begun, and boy have you all been enthusiastic! We've already had thousands of hits to our website and hundreds of votes for who you would like to see crowned winner in each of our 12 categories. We've pretty much covered every aspect of the vegan lifestyle in our awards, including Best Superfood, Best Dairy Alternative, Best Vegan Cause, Best Vegan Friendly Hotel and B&B all the way to Best Vegan Performer and Athlete!
