Ready Steady Chef
Welcome to our Ready Steady Chef competitions – we have two competitions across the weekend; one on Saturday 17th for our Juniors and one on Sunday 18th for our Masters.
The format is simple; contestants cook off against each other and have 30 minutes in which to produce their favourite 100% plant-based meal. Our panel of judges will then decide which chefs go through to the final and ultimately which chef is crowned our Ready Steady Chef Champion for 2012.
The audience will get chance to participate in the judging of the contest and the competitions will be hosted by our lively compères, including Tony Wardle (Viva!), Karin Ridgers (VeggieVision TV) and Tony Bishop-Weston (Foods For Life).
The Juniors competition is on Saturday and involves young people from the surrounding areas; the Masters competition is on Sunday and involves chefs from cookery schools in the area.
There will be prizes for all participants and special prizes reserved for the eventual winners of Juniors and Masters Ready Steady Chef 2012.
