Andrew O'Neill

Andrew will be appearing on Saturday March 16th at 5pm in the Entertainments Hall on the ground floor

Andrew O'Neill is a stand-up comedian, a metalhead, an amateur occultist and a musician. He's pretty much been a show off since birth! He's a vegan, as you can tell by the fact that he has a lithe, sinewy body. He's a heterosexual transvestite, as you can tell by the fact that he wears female clothes and fancys girls. He's not a goth.

"the very definition of alternative" (The Guardian)
"one of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment ... hitting new heights of comedic brilliance" (TimeOut)
"so funny I put him in my new TV show" (Steve Coogan)

Joey Brannigan

Coventry born Joey Brannigan is a 29 year old Comedian known for his sharp, sometimes coarse, take on life. Joey delivers his comical insights with use of a powerpoint show; bringing in a fun dynamic to his modern stand-up style.

Over the past 4 years Joey has established himself on the UK comedy circuit headlinging various fundraising events, and has made successful appearances at the Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham Comedy Festivals in 2011 & 2012.
Joey is no stranger to larger stages; including The Stables, Milton Keynes and The Y Theatre in Leicester, where he was warmly received. Joey also performed twice over the weekend at last year's Bristol VegFest!

"Joey Brings a little Rock & Roll to Comedy", Coventry Telegraph.

"Funnier than that Comedian you saw on TV last night!", JxC Promotions.

"[Joey] draws you in with his alternative narrative on life", Notion Magazine.

James Hately

James is a weird and wonderful performer with a spindly 'pythonesque' figure and a dazzling imagination. His act makes use of surreal logic and imagery to bring a magical quality to the everyday. James has appeared in the Magners Pub Comedian of the Year final and has performed twice at the Green Man Festival.

Sara Pascoe

Star of Channel 4's ‘Stand Up for The Week' and Sky's ‘Wall of Fame' - Sara Pascoe brings her erudite, absurdist and original stand up comedy to Brighton. As an actress Sara has starred in the comedy series ‘Free Agents', ‘Campus' and ‘The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret'. Other TV credits include ‘Twenty Twelve', ‘The Thick of It' and ‘Being Human'.

"Always intelligent and occasionally exquisite", Independent.

"Defiantly idiosyncratic and highly accessible",  Evening Standard.

"Combines the sassy self-regard of Russell Brand with low-level Eddie Izzard-esque surrealism", Guardian.

Dominic Berry

2012 has seen Dominic perform poetry on UK CBeebies 'Rhyme Rocket' and Channel 4′s 'My Daughter The Teenage Nudist'. He is currently recording his poetry for use in a new BBC2 documentary about the NHS. He is winner of New York's infamous Nuyorican Poetry Cafe Slam (June, 2011) and Manchester Literature Festival.

Jim Daly

A newcomer to the comedy circuit, Jim has been bringing his mix of jokes and comedy songs to audiences across London since May 2012. Thankfully a life of being a complete idiot prior to May 2012 has provided plenty of material. He's recently been signed to record comedy songs for a new Internet TV show that's launching soon and has a hip hop song about being a vegetarian that Dr Dre will surely opt to produce any day now.
