Liz will demonstrate Meals in Minutes. She adds, “eating a variety of foods is essential for health. I aim to teach techniques for quick healthy meals that can be prepared after a long day at school or work.” This session is perfect for teenagers and those new to vegan cooking.
4.00 - Adrian Smith - Basil Sunflower Pesto Arancini with "Mozzarella"
Have you ever wondered how to make Sicilian style arancini’s? Chef Adrian will create amazing and gluten free arancini (fried rice balls) filled with fresh basil pesto and melty “mozzarella”, he will also demonstrate how to make delicious aioli style sauces. Make sure to stay until the end for the tasting and recipe cards.
5.00 - Brighton Apothecary - Herbal home remedies: Natural iron tonic
Learn how to make your own natural herbal iron tonic with medical herbalist Marion Mackonochie from Brighton Apothecary. During the demonstration of this very simple recipe, you will find out about possible causes of iron deficiency, as well as easy ways to naturally increase iron intake and absorption.
