WWF Food Policy Manager
Appearing on Sunday at the Global Food Sustainability Conference
Duncan works as the Food Policy Manager for WWF UK. He oversees WWF UK’s food work, currently focusing on sustainable and healthy food systems. He leads the WWF network on sustainable diets. (http://www.wwf.org.uk/what_we_do/changing_the_way_we_live/food/). He came up with the idea for the on-going Livewell project, which demonstrates that a healthy diet can be sustainable. He is on the advisory group for the Food and Climate Research Network (FCRN) and the UNEP Sustainable food System program. He is one of the founding members of Eating Better (http://www.eating-better.org/), a cross-sectorial coalition on NGOs working on meat consumption. He is on the management group for the UK food Group. He has been working in the field of sustainable systems for 20 years. He has a MSC in Sustainable Environmental Management and a BA Hons in Philosophy. His work has led to him living and running projects in Greece, Thailand and on the Galapagos Islands.
