Our food village, located on the first floor, consists of 15 caterers who are a fantastic collection of individuals who between them conjour up a stunning repertoire of amazing food - including snacks, cakes and hot meals. Between them they truly showcase some of the best vegan food anywhere in the country.
All the food and drink supplied at VegfestUK Brighton is 100% plant based - no animal products are used.
Star of many of our previous shows (starting from London last year), Bangwok pad thais have entered fabled category amongst our visitors, with their intoxicating and irresistible smells from freshly fried mushrooms, beansprouts, noodles... served by a really lovely and hardworking team too!
Beelzebab - vegan doner kebab. Est. Brighton, 2014. Homemade seitan in an artisan pitta bread from Infinity Foods, served with fresh shredded cabbage; sliced tomato, cucumber and onion; homemade tzatziki and chilli sauce and an optional pickled pepper on top. Yes boss!
The Brownins stall has a range of flavors from the global African/Caribbean experience of spices and herbs. A variety of vegan items on the menu will include
- the Veggibab (instead of kebab) wraps with a tasty selection of fill-ins,
- Veggie patties,
- salad buffets
- other main cultural dishes for both the traditional a-la-carte connoisseur or health food enthusiast!
Complimenting the above is a range of teas and fruit drinks.
John from Cashew Catering is a bit of a legend and will be serving amazing taster plates, massive platters and wicked cakes from his stall. His menu includes Tofu Spanakopita,, tempeh Tamales, Mixed mushroom Qyoza, stuffed marmande tomatoes, tofu & caramelized onion puff pastry, massive salads, raw cheese and biscuits, raw chocolate torte and a chocolate truffle tasting bar!
Damage Limitation stands for energy, fun and health. Knocking up super smoothies, juices and raw treats for people to devour to keep their spirits and energy high. We also coach those who want to feel amazing through a plant powered lifestyle. Come and say hi, we are at stand CAT15.
