Animal Sanctuary and Vegan Retreat Owner
Appearing on Saturday 5pm in the Lifestyle / Campaign Talks Room
Born in Hertfordshire England, Lynn grew up in the South East of England in a loving family where animals, nature and people were respected. Her Mum encouraged her to see animals as equals, bringing all of them to life with voices!
The daughter of an independent business man, Lynn developed an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. Her first business was a market stall in Southend which she ran in her spare time.
Lynn then went on to pursue a career in the motor industry and worked her way up to “Head of Business” for the largest main franchise Audi dealership in London the first woman ever to achieve this. During one particularly boring meeting Lynn was inspired to rethink her entire life.
Three weeks later Lynn, and her entire family, moved to Spain.
Now, ten years later, she lives with her family within their own private animal sanctuary and with her husband, Julian, she works promoting “connection” through the animals, all of which have been rescued, to help people understand the ethos of being a vegan. The sanctuary has become a 24/7, 365 days a year project, but has inspired many more projects for the future.
Jacobs Ridge opened its doors in 2015, for the first time, as the only 100% vegan retreat where people come to connect with animals and nature, but most importantly, people come and reconnect. It has become a sanctuary for animals and people too.
