What are power, oppression, and privilege? What is bullying and why do people do it? In what ways do people who bully vegans experience a loss of power? How does bullying manifest as an act of emotional violence in our activism? As vegans, how do we guard ourselves emotionally? What is radical self care?

The power of the brain can either be positive or negative for the body! Enough of chasing theories, it’s time to understand why food triggers depression leading to suicide. 

This talk will give you renewed hope, change how you view depression and food, and give you the tools needed to understand the process in order to cope with depression when it hits.

Vegan 28 years, adventurer, juggler, writer, director, event organizer was given three years to live by Doctors five years ago. Jump aboard; vegans, non vegans for Dan's talk and discussion. Becoming vegan is the first step on a journey to health, wealth and the well being of the planet, how we live our lives makes a difference. Connect to your healing potential though the way you live; we must challenge not only ourselves but the world we live in and the fact that everything is connected; from how our food is grown to what we watch on TV. This talk may trigger the inspiration for you to start the next stage in your life's journey.

Talking about her experiences of co-running a private animal sanctuary for the past 6 years and developing that into a successful 100% vegan volunteering centre, Lynn Nicholson talks about how our collective passions can be brought together to effect serious and profound change. Through her love of great food, cooking and her vast animal family she aims to inspire and add her own special "Vegan Food Pimp" spice to the momentum of the Vegan nation.

In this talk Darren & Georgie will share their experiences of their own dramatic health transformations to becoming fit vegans. Learn about the optimal foods to feel amazing, the benefits of intermittent fasting, the 9 minute weekly workout, and why you should become a fit vegan too.

A lecture presentation by Will Tuttle, Ph.D. 
Author of The World Peace Diet and editor of Circles of Compassion

Besides causing outer damage to our world, our culture’s relentless killing of animals for food causes enormous inner damage to our psychological, spiritual, and cultural health. Dr. Tuttle will investigate the hidden ramifications of our food choices, illuminating ways that we are all injected with a mentality that is not in our best interests, and how we can heal this and contribute to creating a more awakened society. Each of us, as we understand our shared history and the implications of our interconnectedness with all life, can become the peace we’d like to see in the world.

Principles and tactics from clinical psychology with a long history of innovation and research evaluation have not been brought into the animal advocacy realm. This talk will focus on how we can be more impactful communicators and advocates.  




2:00pm Karin Nagi - A Vegan World, Justice and Peace For Animals and Children

Karin Nagi is a singer, writer, coach, hobbycook and animal activist, travelling the world speeching and promoting a vegan diet and lifestyle and the benefits for animals, children and the environment. A book will be released in 2016 and coming up journeys are to India, Philippines, Africa, USA, UK, Luxembourg etc. Change the world, start with children!
