Policy for Visitors with Disabilities

Following feedback from some of our visitors after previous events, the organisers of VegfestUK Brighton and Bristol 2017 are putting in place a number of measures at this year’s events to ensure that visitors with disabilities are welcome and can enjoy the show with minimal stress:

BSL interpretation is available for the first 2 sessions in the Easy Veganism area on the Saturday March 11th 2017. For full details of these 2 sessions, see http://brighton.vegfest.co.uk/talks---easy-veganism

In each talks room / cinema with rows of seating, there will be a couple of seats for visitors with disabilities in the front row of every talks room, and 2 spaces for wheelchairs/mobility scooters made available Anyone who is hard of hearing, or has a disability, and want to sit in the front row, should make themselves known to stewards manning the talks room in question, and priority seating will be arranged.

Disabled toilets are clearly marked on printed visitor booklets (to be handed out to visitors at the entrance) as well as on the maps on signage posters erected on the walls of the venue.

Priority entry is available for visitors with disabilities, mobility scooters, etc on both days.

Visitors with disabilities will be allowed to come to the front of the queue at other times.
