After its first debut back in 2016, The FxEctive Factor vegan talent contest is back at next year’s VegfestUK Brighton on the Saturday March 24th 2018, and application to perform at this competition is now open to both musicians and activists.
The competition will consist of a section of 8 musicians followed by a section of 8 activists.
The first round of our selection process involves musicians and activists applying to be nominated to perform in the competition.
To apply for nominations, please supply us with a Youtube presentation (approx 5 mins max), either for your chosen musical piece (for musicians), or for your chosen form of activism (for activists). All applications should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Applications open from Wednesday November 1st 2017 (World Vegan Day) and close on Friday December 15th 2017.
The final list of nominees for the competition will be announced in the first week of January 2018.
Nominees are then required to submit a finished song (musicians) / presentation (activists) for online voting.
The online voting will form half the scoring for the eventual results of the competition, with the other half of the scoring based on the actual performances / presentations on the day.
All successful nominations will also be offered a slot in either the Stage / Activists corner.
The winner for each category will receive a cash prize (amount TBC) plus some free promotional package from the VegfestUK PR team and social media channels.
